My name is Mo Maali, enjoy the art of software engineering, system architecture and design. For some working in tech is just a career, for me its a passion, an inner drive to build more performant, faster and safest software with a touch of craftsmanship.
On my personal page, I share and discuss topics that interest me. Outside of my current job, I spend all my time on my NixOS based Lenovo ThinkPad. Customizing my operating system, modifying Nix flakes and system configs, building tools for my day to day workflow. I run Wayland x Hyperland on my Nix Thinkpad, living inside a tmux worspace running vim as my code editor. I don't avoid GUI based code editors and stuff to seem cool, but because it actually speeds up my workflow and processes. I have lived inside my terminal, so it is almost natural to me working like a cracked dev!
Crypto/Web3 community is where I operate. I stay up to date on all the latest news, be it SOL meme coins, EIP like ETH's account abstraction(7702), BTC core contributor discussions, Cosmos SDK bug bountys(igniteCLI, Tendermint). What i really love about blockchain is the underlying node infrastructure. I remember 2021, first leanring about how Tendermint reaches consensus, using Byzantine Fault tolerance mechanism. No one validator can corrupt a network, as they always need atleast 2/3 to validate the next block. In my mind, this is an art. Designing nodes, that sync data and construct blocks, filled with data, hashed, for cryptographic proof, and verification. All agreed on by an underlying concensus mechanism, that humans program, but once live is not easily tampered with. I can talk to you all day about PoW vs PoS(DPoS) vs PoA, and which I think is best.
I live in my terminal, my weeks are split between my work machine, and my personal. I made some monospace-web inspired chart on how my weeks hours are spent
Where I spend most of my time :)

2022, I made a 2pt video for the Polygon dev community, and showed how to launch 4 Polygon Edge nodes, via AWS ec2's, sync them all and deploy smart contract to your Sidechain
I update here often with my thoughts, and tech opinions/self mastery focus, I tweet too give me a follow or reach out! let me know.
A massive shout-out to owickstrom for the monospace-web you made me fall in love with 💕 and much love to U.S. Graphics Company for all the inspiration.
